How long will treatment take?
Every person has individual needs. And every person's teeth move at a
different rate, making it difficult to give you a firm answer. Typically,
treatment is 18-24 months. However, after your initial evaluation, Dr.
Prices can discuss a schedule with you.
How often will I need to return for check-ups and adjustments?
Generally speaking, you can expect to come back every six to eight weeks.
How much does it cost?
Again, the cost varies depending on the extent of the treatment, but we
should be able to provide you with an accurate estimate after your evaluation.
Does dental insurance cover orthodontic procedures?
Only if you have an orthodontic rider. Ordinary dental insurance does
not cover orthodontic treatment. It's always a good idea to check with
your insurance company to be sure.
Do you treat TMJ?
Some cases of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders can be corrected
with braces. We can determine the effectiveness of treatment after an
initial exam.
Does a child need to have his/her permanent teeth before receiving
treatment?
No. We can recognize the signs of many problems before they occur. With
early treatment, your child's permanent teeth stand a better chance of
coming into correct position.
